Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies (HueIDS) operates under the management of the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province in Vietnam.

HueIDS is focussed on research and advice about the Province’s socio-economic orientation and strategic development plans to bring about more sustainable development. Since its establishment in May 2018, HueIDS has played an innovative and supportive role contributing to the Province’s strategy of “Development based on knowledge, Sustainable development based on culture.”
