Climate Security Research Network
Global
The Climate Security Research Network (CSRN, or the Network) based in the School of Social Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) has been established to coordinate interdisciplinary, community-based research on climate security with a focus on least developed, vulnerable communities. The CSRN brings together climate security and adaptation researchers who work in and with communities to share knowledge, data, and expertise in assessing vulnerability, risks, and community needs at the local level. It aims to develop context-appropriate systems to track security risks, inform effective policy premised on concrete data to help mitigate climate security risks, and build appropriate adaptation strategies for local communities embedded within their unique conditions, needs, and capacities.
